Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing & SEO Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support our digital marketing efforts by improving website performance, enhancing search engine visibility, and analyzing marketing data. As a Digital Marketing & SEO Intern, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our online presence, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting data-driven marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Audit website content and assign descriptive alt attributes to images to improve accessibility and SEO.
- Conduct on-page SEO audits and recommend improvements to page titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Analyze website traffic and marketing performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports to communicate marketing performance and key metrics.
- Research SEO best practices, keyword opportunities, and competitor websites to support optimization efforts.
- Present findings and recommendations to the marketing team.
- Document processes and create guides for maintaining SEO and analytics reporting.
Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and digital marketing concepts.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, or similar analytics platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills when managing audits, reports, and documentation.
- Basic understanding of website structure, HTML, and content management systems (such as WordPress or Shopify) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for organizing and analyzing data.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and stay current with evolving SEO and digital marketing best practices.
