The Role As an SEO Intern, you will assist in enhancing online visibility through keyword research, link-building strategies, and optimization of website content, while utilizing tools like SEMrush. Using tools like SEMrush and other link-building platforms, you will collaborate with our team to develop and execute an SEO strategy aligned with our business goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research to identify high-value, relevant terms to target.
- Utilize SEMrush to conduct competitor analysis, backlink audits, and track rankings.
- Identify and secure quality backlinks through effective link-building strategies.
- Develop outreach campaigns to engage with potential link partners.
- Assist in optimizing website content, meta descriptions, and on-page elements for SEO best practices.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
- Stay updated on SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and digital marketing innovations.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- A strong interest in SEO and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar).
- Basic understanding of link building, keyword research, and on-page optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (for outreach campaigns).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (recent graduates are also welcome).
- Experience in using SEO tools and analyzing data (bonus if you’ve worked on personal projects).
