## Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced **Local SEO Content Specialist** That will work with our team project manage to lead a team of five content writers while creating high-quality, SEO-driven content for a multi-location mental health and substance abuse treatment organization. This is a leadership role requiring someone who is organized, accountable, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with another Project Manager to ensure all content is completed on schedule, meets quality standards, and supports the company's local SEO strategy.

## Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, conversion-focused Local SEO content for mental health and substance abuse treatment facilities.
• Manage and mentor a team of five content writers.
• Assign workloads, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Develop, document, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for content production and team workflows.
• Establish weekly and monthly goals for the content team.
• Collaborate daily with another Project Manager to prioritize projects and manage workloads.
• Upload and format content using the WordPress Gutenberg editor.
• Optimize content using proper internal linking and anchor text strategies.
• Ensure all content follows SEO best practices, EEAT guidelines, and company quality standards.
• Participate in meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Remain available during working hours and respond promptly to management communications.

## Required Qualifications

• Proven experience writing Local SEO content.
• Experience creating content for mental health, addiction treatment, healthcare, or a closely related industry.
• Strong understanding of:
• Local SEO
• On-page SEO
• Internal linking
• Anchor text optimization
• Keyword research
• Content hierarchy
• Experience using the WordPress Gutenberg editor.
• Experience managing writers or content teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create and maintain detailed SOPs.
• Excellent English writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

## Technical Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Quiet, professional work environment.
• Reliable computer capable of handling multiple browser tabs and productivity tools.
• Availability during all scheduled working hours (7:00 AM–4:00 PM EST).
• Ability to communicate through company messaging platforms throughout the workday.
