Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Website & Technical SEO Specialist to manage, maintain, and improve our company websites, with a strong focus on WordPress, technical SEO, Google Ads, and AI search optimization.

This is not a content only SEO position. The ideal candidate must have a computer related educational background, be comfortable working inside WordPress, understand website structure and coding, and be able to implement SEO-related technical setup directly.

The role will support our online visibility, website performance, lead generation, and digital marketing efforts across search engines, Google Ads, and AI-driven search platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, update, and troubleshoot WordPress websites.
• Manage website pages, landing pages, plugins, themes, forms, redirects, and basic website functionality.
• Perform technical SEO setup and optimization, including:

-Sitemap setup and submission

-Robots.txt review

-Schema markup / structured data

-Canonical tags

-Indexing and crawling control

-Page speed optimization

-Mobile usability improvement

• Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to monitor website traffic, indexing issues, search performance, and user behavior.
• Set up and maintain Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and event tracking when needed.
• Conduct keyword research and optimize website pages for organic search.
• Improve website structure, internal linking, title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text, and URL structure.
• Assist with Google Ads setup, landing page optimization, keyword planning, and performance tracking.
• Support AI SEO / AI Search Optimization, including optimization for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI-driven search platforms.
• Work with the sales and marketing team to improve lead generation through website and search visibility.
• Review website content accuracy, clarity, and SEO value.
• Provide regular reports on SEO performance, website issues, traffic trends, keyword rankings, and recommended improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer-related field, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development.
• Strong experience with WordPress website setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Coding ability is required. Must be comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of PHP or WordPress theme/plugin structure is quired.
• Hands-on SEO experience, especially technical SEO.
• Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and PageSpeed Insights.
• Understanding of Google Ads, keyword ads, landing pages, and conversion tracking.
• Familiarity with AI SEO, Generative Engine Optimization, Answer Engine Optimization, or AI search visibility strategies.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.
