Organic traffic is the most durable customer acquisition channel a workforce strategy firm can own.

The Wilkinson Firm has three sites with growing intent. thewilkinsonfirm.com, hr.thewilkinsonfirm.com, hospitality.thewilkinsonfirm.com. We have founder content, real client positioning, and zero dedicated SEO discipline applied.

We need an SEO performance contractor who can build the keyword strategy, audit and fix on-page, ship content briefs, track rankings, and translate traffic into pipeline.

This is a performance role with a clear climb. Modest retainer at start. Real upside as the math compounds.

What you would do

• Full SEO audit across the three TWF sites
• Keyword strategy by vertical: workforce strategy, behavioral health workforce, hospitality staffing, MBE professional services, government contracting workforce
• On-page optimization: title tags, meta descriptions, schema, internal linking
• Technical SEO: Core Web Vitals, crawl, sitemap, robots, structured data
• Content brief authorship for blog and resource hub pages
• Monthly ranking and traffic reporting
• Pipeline attribution: which organic visits convert to inbound conversations

Compensation – Climbing Ladder

Stage 1 (first 90 days, mission-aligned starter):

• $500/month retainer for ~10 hours of strategic SEO work
• Traffic milestone bonus: $250 at 2x organic baseline by Day 90

Stage 2 (organic traffic 3x baseline + 5 keywords on page 1):

• $1,000/month retainer for ~15 hours
• $500 milestone bonus per additional page-1 keyword
• 2% of organic-sourced revenue

Stage 3 (organic traffic 10x baseline + 20 keywords on page 1):

• $2,000/month retainer
• $1,000 milestone bonus per page-1 keyword
• 5% of organic-sourced revenue
• Senior advisor track opens

Who we want

• 3-7 years B2B SEO experience
• Tool fluency: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Search Console, Screaming Frog, GA4
• Schema markup, structured data, technical SEO depth
• Content brief authorship – you can hand a writer a brief that ranks
• Documented traffic growth stories on prior client sites

Bonus: Vertical SEO depth in workforce, healthcare, professional services, or hospitality.

Who we are not for

• SEO consultants whose only deliverable is a 100-page audit PDF
• Anyone who has never shipped content briefs that ranked
• Generalist digital marketers without dedicated SEO portfolio
