Masse is a fast-growing SEO and AEO agency, helping ambitious tech companies – from AI startups to established SaaS platforms – dominate search through our highly-effective “Content at Scale” campaigns.
To date, we’ve grown entirely through word-of-mouth and referrals – and we’ve built a sizable agency doing it – but it’s time to take our marketing presence from zero to one.
Our goal is to 3x this year, and our Marketing Lead will spearhead our efforts to turn Masse into a well-known, recognised brand amongst our tech company audience.
As Marketing Lead @ Masse, you’ll launch and orchestrate a multi-channel marketing engine designed to create a “gravity pull” – where our ideal clients see us consistently across multiple channels, develop trust in our expertise, and eventually come to work with us.
You’ll work closely with our Founder, alongside agency partners and our internal team to build and scale the channels that will take Masse from a referral-driven agency to a brand people actively seek out.
If you’re a hands-on marketer who thrives on building from scratch, gets energised by the idea of owning the entire marketing function for a fast-growing agency, and isn’t afraid to be the public face of the brand – we’d love to hear from you.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Build and manage our multi-channel outbound programme, coordinating direct mail and email campaigns with our agency partner to reach our ideal clients at scale.
- Launch Masse’s inbound content engine on LinkedIn and X, growing our audience and driving conversations with the right people in the tech and marketing space.
- Spearhead the creation of marketing assets including the launch of Masse’s “Manufacturing Consensus” AEO book and other thought-leadership content.
- Design and build trust-building funnels – whether that’s webinars, lead magnets, events, or something we haven’t thought of yet.
- Manage Masse’s Paid Ads programme in collaboration with our agency partner, ensuring we’re getting the best possible ROI.
- Own and optimize our CRM strategy, making sure we’re getting maximum value from our audience and that no lead falls through the cracks.
- Manage and evolve our marketing website, ensuring it reflects Masse’s brand, converts traffic, and supports our SEO efforts.
Here’s what we’re looking for
- A deep understanding of SEO and AEO, combined with genuine knowledge of the tech space we operate in.
- Proven experience scaling inbound interest from LinkedIn (and ideally X/Twitter) – we want to see you’ve built an audience and driven real conversations, not just posted content.
- Strong CRM strategy experience – you know how to segment, nurture, and get the best out of an audience.
- Experience managing a marketing website and understanding how it fits into the broader lead generation picture.
- A hands-on, ownership mindset. You’re comfortable being the first marketing hire and building things from the ground up.
- A conversational and engaging communication style, both in writing and in meetings.
Desirable Skills
These aren’t essential and shouldn’t put you off applying, but any of these will help your application stand out.
- An existing audience or personal brand in the SEO, marketing, or tech space
- Experience with video content and/or visual design experience
- Real, hands-on SEO knowledge (not just theory)
- Experience running webinars or live events
- Comfortable speaking directly to prospects and potential clients
- Comfortable being a public face of the company
