Lead a team responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize Apple”s presence across AI platforms, AI-powered search experiences (e.g., AI Overviews, conversational search, answer engines), and agentic commerce workflows where AI agents discover, evaluate, and transact on behalf of users\nOwn the organic search strategy for Apple products and services across several of Apple”s digital platforms, including but not limited to Apple”s marketing site and online store\nBuild, mentor, and grow a team of technical SEO program managers, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives drive better outcomes\nHire, coach, and develop a team of technical SEO program managers, setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and fostering an inclusive culture that supports career growth and diverse perspectives\nDefine and own the long-term roadmap for technical SEO, AI search, and agentic commerce at Apple, prioritizing the feature backlog and guiding projects from ideation to production with developer teams\nLead cross-functional collaboration with content, marketing, product, and engineering leaders to ensure SEO requirements are integrated into all digital efforts and product launches\nDrive the working group that develops shared processes and cross-functional operational standards for future platforms\nOversee monitoring, analysis, and reporting on SEO performance, AI search trends, and agentic commerce developments, making data-driven decisions that inform broader search strategy; champion on-page experience grounded in UX/UI best practices\nManage executive relationships inside Apple — advocating for SEO initiatives, securing headcount and resources — and externally with search engines (Google, Bing) and AI platform providers
Minimum of 9 years of experience with SEO for a global brand or digital agency\n2+ years of experience directly managing SEO, technical marketing, or program management teams\nExperience with AIO / GEO / AEO\nSolid experience managing complex and time-critical technical projects\nIn-depth knowledge of the latest SEO best practices across all significant worldwide search engines\nProficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Profound, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
12+ years of experience with SEO preferred\nExperience working in the technology and/or e-commerce industry\nKnowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages\nExperience with emerging standards such as MCP (Model Context Protocol), UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol), APC (Agentic Commerce Protocol), WebMCP, and others\nExperience building or scaling an SEO function at a large, matrixed organization\nTrack record of building diverse, inclusive teams and developing talent into future leaders
