Our client is a rapidly growing, consumer-focused professional services organization dedicated to advocating for and supporting individuals during some of the most important moments of their lives. With a strong reputation, expanding geographic footprint, and ambitious growth plans, the organization is seeking a dynamic Director of Content to build and scale a best-in-class content function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven content strategies that support business objectives, including lead generation, brand awareness, and audience engagement.
- Oversee the production of diverse content formats, including blogs, whitepapers, videos, case studies, webinars, and more.
- Ensure all content maintains quality, consistency, and alignment with the organization’s brand voice and mission.
- Create and manage content across digital, print, social media, email, and other channels to maximize reach and engagement.
- Apply strong SEO knowledge to optimize content performance, visibility, and organic growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop content creators while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Measure content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and other marketing platforms.
- Leverage data and insights to optimize content strategies and maximize ROI.
- Partner with marketing, sales, design, and other stakeholders to align content initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure timely production and effective distribution.
- Stay ahead of content marketing trends, emerging technologies, AI tools, and evolving media formats.
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in content marketing, storytelling, journalism, communications, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of leadership or people management experience.
- Proven success developing and executing data-driven content strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Demonstrated ability to build compelling brand narratives and create engaging multi-channel content.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, or similar content management systems.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and analytics tools.
- Strong ability to manage, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Experience measuring content performance and using insights to improve outcomes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
- Advanced certifications or graduate degrees are a plus.
