About The Role
We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to join our talented team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for a diverse portfolio of national and international brands. The SEO Manager will take full ownership of client-facing responsibilities, including regular reporting, status updates, and strategic planning. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying SEO opportunities, leveraging advanced tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Brightedge, and others to optimize organic search performance. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating closely with website development partners to implement technical SEO recommendations. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to effectively drive results and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing and executing SEO strategies for national and international brands
- Deep knowledge of technical SEO, including hreflang, canonical URLs, XML sitemaps, schema markup, and international website architecture
- Experience managing enterprise-level SEO software such as BrightEdge, Conductor, and seoClarity
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, ScreamingFrog, Google Data Studio, SEMrush, Brightedge, and Adobe Analytics
- Expertise in hyperlocal SEO, including location business listing management across multiple directories using Yext, Reputation.com, BrightLocal, etc.
- Ability to conduct SEO audits, identify off-page opportunities, and optimize local listings effectively
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable strategies
- Experience managing and mentoring SEO teams, including Analysts and Strategists
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Knowledge of link building strategies, content outreach, and relationship management
- Ability to collaborate with web development teams and external partners to implement SEO recommendations
- Up-to-date with the latest SEO industry trends, best practices, and algorithm updates
Responsibilities
- Own and manage client relationships, providing regular updates, reports, and strategic recommendations
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to client needs and industry standards
- Utilize various SEO platforms to monitor, analyze, and improve website and local listing performance
- Conduct technical SEO audits and execute on-page and off-page optimization initiatives
- Manage hyperlocal SEO efforts, including business listing management and reputation monitoring
- Identify new keyword opportunities and develop action plans for execution from ideation to completion
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless implementation of SEO strategies
- Lead link-building campaigns and outreach efforts to enhance domain authority and search visibility
- Monitor and report on SEO performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth
- Assist in developing new SEO initiatives and training programs for the team
