We are seeking a hands-on Technical SEO leader with experience supporting large-scale websites within media, entertainment, streaming, publishing, or other content-driven environments. Join a leading media and entertainment organization driving search visibility, audience growth, and AI-powered optimization across a portfolio of high-traffic digital products and consumer platforms.
This role is a contract to hire where you will convert on salary with the client between 6-12 months. Conversion salary is up to $115,000/year + bonus + LTIs + benefits. On contract, benefits are available for purchase through insight global. This role i s hybrid 4x per week in New York, and one day remote.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of technical SEO experience supporting enterprise-scale digital properties
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, website architecture, crawlability, indexation, and organic search performance
- Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Content, and Marketing teams
- Hands-on experience developing or optimizing AI-powered workflows, automation solutions, AI agents, or LLM-based processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with SEO and analytics platforms, reporting, and performance measurement
- Background in media, entertainment, streaming, publishing, consumer technology, or other content-rich industries strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO strategy across large-scale consumer-facing websites and digital platforms
- Improve search visibility, site health, organic traffic, and content discoverability
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to implement and validate SEO initiatives
- Conduct technical audits, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization efforts
- Drive App Store Optimization (ASO) initiatives where applicable
- Build and scale AI-powered workflows for SEO analysis, reporting, monitoring, and automation
- Establish governance, QA standards, and performance monitoring for AI-driven solutions
- Stay ahead of search engine updates, AI search trends, and emerging technologies
