In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing on-page and off-page optimization strategies, conducting in-depth keyword research, and analyzing website performance metrics to drive organic growth. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of current SEO best practices, technical skills to troubleshoot issues, and the ability to adapt strategies to meet evolving search engine algorithms. Responsibilities

  • Provide SEO support to strategic, technical, and creative teams.
  • Perform comprehensive keyword research to guide content creation and optimization.
  • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headlines, and images.
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and Looker Studio.
  • Collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
  • Build and manage backlinks to improve site authority and search visibility.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments.
  • Report on progress and provide insights to improve SEO campaigns and achieve traffic and conversion goals with internal teams and external clients.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in search engine optimization or related fields.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets (Excel).
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, & Looker Studio
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as it pertains to SEO.
  • Solid understanding of content marketing principles and their relationship to SEO.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, such as WordPress or Shopify.
  • Basic understanding of local SEO, including Google Business Profile and local listing optimization.
  • Familiarity with schema markup and structured data is a plus.
  • General knowledge of A/B testing and conversion rate optimization is a plus.
  • Interest in AI and automation and how they can improve SEO workflows.
