SEO Specialist
We build high-performing websites that generate leads for contractors across the United States. Our goal is simple: dominate local search results and create websites that consistently produce qualified leads.
We're looking for an experienced SEO Specialist who understands modern SEO and can take ownership of ranking websites in competitive local markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings.
- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Build high-quality authoritative backlinks.
- Optimize on-page SEO, including titles, meta descriptions, schema markup, and internal linking.
- Manage technical SEO issues such as indexing, crawl errors, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
- Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles.
- Monitor Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Identify and resolve SEO issues that impact rankings.
- Track keyword performance and provide monthly reports.
- Stay current with Google's algorithm updates and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with our content and web development team to improve website performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience ranking websites on Google.
- Strong understanding of local SEO.
- Experience with backlink outreach and link-building strategies.
- Knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Business Profile.
- Experience using SEO tools.
- Understanding of technical SEO.
- Ability to identify ranking opportunities and create actionable plans.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience ranking contractor or home service websites.
- Experience with WordPress.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Familiarity with Local Service Ads and local search ranking factors.
