Grey Parrot Systems (GPARROT) is hiring a Digital Product Lead with deep expertise in SEO, conversion rate optimization, and digital growth strategy — driving measurable customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue impact across enterprise digital product experiences.
About Grey Parrot Systems
Grey Parrot Systems (GPARROT) is a women-owned, BEP-certified IT services firm headquartered in Naperville, IL. We partner with mid-market enterprises to deliver AI-first, governance-driven digital transformation. Our team of seasoned CIO/CTO practitioners works side-by-side with clients across retail, logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare — and we're growing.
About the Role
This is a digital product leadership role for someone who owns the full digital growth stack — SEO, CRO, paid search alignment, lead attribution, and digital experience optimization — and drives it from strategy through execution with a bias for measurable results. You will lead digital product strategy across website experiences, define and execute SEO and CRO roadmaps, and build the analytics and experimentation frameworks that turn traffic into revenue. You think in systems, lead cross-functional teams with clarity, and use AI tools to move faster and smarter than the competition. If you have 8–12 years of digital product and growth experience and a track record of building digital experiences that perform — this role is for you.
Must-Have Skills
- 8–12 years of digital product, SEO, CRO, or digital growth experience — consumer-facing digital platforms, e-commerce, or enterprise web
- Expert-level SEO strategy and execution — technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, Core Web Vitals, and AI search visibility / GEO
- Deep conversion rate optimization (CRO) expertise — A/B testing, multivariate testing, funnel analysis, and user journey optimization
- Strong digital analytics foundation — GA4, BigQuery, SQL, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) — data layer design, tag governance, and server-side GTM
- Hands-on experience with lead funnel optimization — identifying and resolving drop-off, queue failures, and attribution gaps
- Experience with Google Paid Search — audience targeting, ad spend optimization, and attribution modeling
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional digital teams — engineering, design, marketing, and analytics — from strategy through delivery
- Strong executive communication skills — able to present digital growth strategy and performance to C-suite and senior business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to ship MVPs and iterate fast — balancing short-term wins with long-term platform strategy
What You'll Do
- Own and lead digital product strategy across website experience — SEO, CRO, AI search visibility, paid search alignment, and digital shopping and service journeys
- Define and execute a comprehensive SEO roadmap — technical SEO, content strategy, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and generative engine optimization (GEO)
- Lead CRO strategy and experimentation — A/B testing, multivariate testing, funnel optimization, and user journey redesign
- Own digital growth analytics — building dashboards, attribution models, and reporting frameworks that connect digital activity to revenue outcomes
- Diagnose and resolve lead attribution gaps — building tracking solutions that connect ad spend, lead sources, and downstream revenue with accuracy
- Optimize Google Paid Search performance — reducing wasted spend, improving audience targeting, and closing attribution loops with accurate first-party data
- Design and ship MVP digital solutions that deliver immediate business impact while longer-term platform modernization initiatives are underway
- Define and own the digital product roadmap — prioritizing initiatives based on customer impact, business value, and growth potential
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams — engineering, design, QA, marketing, and analytics — aligning everyone around a clear growth strategy and execution plan
- Establish digital governance standards — tagging best practices, data quality frameworks, and experimentation protocols across all digital properties
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate digital product discovery, SEO analysis, content optimization, and growth analytics workflows
- Evaluate and recommend emerging digital tools and technologies — AI search, personalization engines, headless CMS, and composable commerce platforms
- Serve as the go-to digital product and growth authority for client and business stakeholders — advising on strategy, measurement, and technology
Real Problems You'll Solve
- Large-scale paid search budgets where significant spend targets existing customers rather than net-new acquisition — requiring smart audience segmentation and exclusion strategies
- 40%+ of weekly leads that never reach a representative queue — a funnel architecture and conversion problem requiring both immediate MVP fixes and longer-term platform solutions
- Lead-to-revenue attribution gaps that generate flawed targeting data and wasted ad spend — requiring clean first-party data strategies and tracking architecture
- Legacy digital platform experiences that need modernization — building a bridge between current-state limitations and future-state composable architecture
