What we’re looking for 

A US-based digital marketing agency is looking for a Senior SEO Account Manager to join their organic search team. This is a high-ownership role for someone who has grown through the SEO ranks and is now ready to lead strategy for a diverse portfolio of national and international clients. What You’ll Be Doing

• Own strategy and day-to-day management for a portfolio of 5 to 10 client accounts spanning D2C and B2B/SaaS brands.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, leading calls and managing relationships independently.
• Develop and execute SEO and AEO strategies, including technical optimization, on-page improvements, and LLM-optimized content.
• Educate clients on how evolving search behavior and AI-driven discovery affect their organic growth.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with content, technical, and AI specialists to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Identify and develop upsell opportunities and expanded scopes that align with each client’s business goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a background that started at the analyst level and grew from there.
• Solid understanding of AEO, GEO, and LLM visibility concepts, with the ability to translate them into actionable client strategy.
• Proven experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency setting.
• Active, professional use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in your day-to-day workflow.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience with national or international e-commerce, B2B, or SaaS clients.

Nice to Have

• Experience collaborating alongside a paid media team on integrated accounts.
• Background building or improving AI and LLM-based content workflows.
