As a senior SEO strategist on our Acquisition Experience team, you’ll lead enterprise-level SEO initiatives that drive organic search performance, improve site usability, and enhance customer acquisition. In this role, you’ll leverage user intent and topic research, technical expertise and data-driven insights to optimize site visibility and create meaningful customer-first experiences. By collaborating across teams and staying ahead of industry trends, you’ll ensure Progressive’s SEO strategies remain innovative and competitive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
This is a remote position with occasional travel to Corporate Headquarters roughly three or four times per year.
Must-have qualifications
- A minimum of seven years of related experience designing user experiences
- {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of four years of related experience designing user experience
Preferred skills
- Proven ability to conduct user intent and topic research to develop customer-focused content and digital strategies that drive measurable organic traffic growth
- Demonstrated success in optimizing website performance through technical SEO improvements (e.g., structured data implementation, page speed enhancements, and resolving canonicalization issues)
- Experience supporting thought leadership by contributing to strategic points of view on emerging platforms (e.g., GenAI), search engine algorithms, and modern SEO practices
- Track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., PR, Social, Paid Media, IT) to align SEO strategies with broader customer acquisition goals
- Experience managing SEO performance tracking and reporting using website analytics and keyword management tools to deliver actionable insights and data-driven recommendations
Compensation
- $72,100 – $96,100/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
