SEOSpace, “the Yoast for Squarespace,” is an easy-to-use, jargon-free SEO plugin that provides any Squarespace user with actionable insights to improve their rankings and increase organic traffic to their website.
As the world’s leading Squarespace SEO experts, we have several other arms of the business, which this role will work across alongside the CEO and Customer Success Manager:
- SEO Agency: We provide SEO services to Squarespace websites via long-term SEO projects and SEO sprints.
- SEO Academy: In July, we’ll launch our own SEO Academy and Accreditation, giving users of our plugin additional support, resources, and guidance to maximise the results of the Squarespace SEO efforts.
- YouTube Channel: We publish 4 videos/month covering Squarespace SEO and generating inbound leads.

Role Description
This is a full-time role for an SEO Account Manager. As an SEO Account Manager at SEOSpace, you will manage client accounts and ensure their SEO strategies are implemented effectively. You will work closely with our in-house SEO team to streamline operations and deliver the best possible results for our clients.
You will also work closely with clients, alongside our Client Success Manager and CEO, to understand their business objectives and create tailored SEO plans, conduct keyword research, optimise website content, analyse website performance, and provide regular reports and updates to clients.
The rate is $500/project/month – other account managers earn typically $5000/month within 6 months
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Account Manager or similar role is a must
- Thorough understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Knowledge of SEO tools and analytics platforms (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO etc.)
- Excellent written communication skills and perfect English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Squarespace or other website-building platforms is a plus
What Success Looks Like:
We’re a fast-moving company with room to grow across different areas of the business. Excelling in this role looks like:
- Identifying areas that need improving and proactively fixing these areas yourself or proposing a plan to the team
- Owning the “behind the scenes” of our agency, ensuring operations are constantly positioned for excellent results and growth
- Within 6-12 months becoming “Head of SEO” at SEOSpace and owning SEO service operations across the business
Bonus:
- If you have your own SEO projects that show you don’t just do SEO for clients, but you’ve also tried/actively do it for yourself
- Actively using AI in delivering SEO projects
