Bob’s Watches is seeking a creative and analytical Head of SEO Content Strategy to lead our content and SEO efforts. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and boost conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Audit existing content and analyze performance to identify gaps and opportunities
- Create a content strategy and editorial calendar optimized for SEO and conversions
- Lead the ideation and creation of engaging, high-quality, and keyword-optimized content across channels including blog, video, social media, and more
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other teams to ensure content is effective across platforms
- Conduct ongoing keyword research and implement targeting strategies to improve rankings
- Monitor SEO metrics and website analytics to optimize content and inform strategy
- Stay up-to-date on latest trends, algorithms changes, and best practices in SEO, content marketing, and conversion optimization
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience developing and executing successful SEO and content strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset and strong data analysis skills
- Proficient in SEO and content best practices and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of ranking factors and experience optimizing web pages for search
- Creativity and storytelling skills to develop compelling content
- Ability to lead and manage a high-performing content team
- Passion for watches and the watch enthusiast community
