We are looking for a skilled freelance SEO Opportunity Analyst to analyze the potential value of domains/websites we might want to acquire. We would be happy to work with the right person on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate how relevant and valuable the existing traffic of a target domain/website is to our business goals.
• Assess the difficulty and resources required to create similar content in-house versus the benefits and costs of acquiring the existing website. Please, start your cover letter with ‘It depends’ to show us that you’ve read the job description.
• Analyze the chances of maintaining or improving the current traffic levels, considering the quality and relevance of the content.
• Conduct detailed analyses of the traffic performance of target domains/websites over the last 6-12 months, including both domain and page-level insights.
• Prepare quantified reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations on whether to proceed with acquiring a website.
• Create SEO content briefs.

Requirements:

• – Proven experience in SEO and website analysis.
• – Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GSC, Semrush or similar).
• – Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed recommendations.
• – Excellent communication skills.
• – Ability to identify opportunities and risks.
• – Familiarity with content creation and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
