On The Map, Inc. is a rapidly growing local search marketing agency. Since 2021 the company has grown by 100% and is on track to do $7M in 2024. They have set out to build their digital PR department. The first step, hiring an experienced digital PR manager who is up for a challenge to land high-value links while building a team. Responsibilities:
- Become a media relations expert for OTM’s clients.
- Have great media contacts, and you’re ready to pitch the stories.
- Understand industry analysis and trends in PR.
- Be able to develop and run data first (search first) ideas using audience, data, and topics that are relevant as well as creative cross-channel campaigns.
- Writing press releases.
- Leading strategy on media lists, creating a detailed approach to outreach for execs to follow that will lead to successful campaigns.
- Ensure our PR sell-in tactics are successful.
- Understand what stories and content the press likes to cover.
- Be aware of what competitors are doing to land links and media placements.
- Spot opportunities to deliver above and beyond the link target or spot new hooks.
- Progressively build out your team and department.
Experience:
- 2-3+ years experience in digital PR.
- Proven track record of launched digital PR campaigns that landed tons of links.
- Have managed and hired digital PR associates.
