My last 7 years have been dedicated to my consultancy/agency. During that time I’ve managed small and large projects, grown a team, and delivered on SEO projects for SaaS brands and SMBs.

Reedsy.com –  2019-2020 – Head of SEO

I was an inhouse SEO for Reedsy.com in 2020 for 10 months. During that time I lead the SEO initiative for the website. Main projects included taking care of the main website and blog, launching an Upwork style directory for connecting aspiring authors with editors, cover designers and book marketers and launching the Reedsy Discovery (a GoodReads style competitor for new self-pub books).

What Are You Looking For in Your Next Role?

Looking for an in-house role in a SaaS company preferably but open to all offers.

I work best in roles that have clearly defined KPIs and expectations but require autonomy and problem-solving skills to be applied to reach them so I’d like something similar.

An example would be an Inhouse SEO manager or leader responsible for the website marketing and content plan and execution. With that might come KPIs like;

• Grow traffic by 100% YoY
• Work with sales to increase search-assisted leads
• Grow SEO influenced revenue by 30%
• Improve lead quality from search

I am building an SEO SaaS on the side to better understand the struggles that SaaS founders go through when it comes to product, development, launching and marketing it. It’s years away form launch but I am having a great time learning and I hope to take this experience to become a better marketer and business person.
