Introduction

Hi, I am Andy Frobisher, and experienced former Head of SEO at Digitaloft (a large UK based SEO agency), turned freelance SEO consultant.

Before going freelance, I grew the SEO department from 5 to 12 SEO’s and content writers over a 2 year period, being influential in the development and growth of the department.

I am an all round SEO who is confident in all aspects from SEO strategy, technical SEO, on-page SEO, content marketing, and off-page SEO. When working with me you can be confident that you’re getting someone with 10 years of experience doing all of the work from the account management to execution of the SEO strategy.

I live and breathe SEO, and it has become firmly fixed into my everyday life. From keeping up to date on the latest industry trends and news, or continuous reading on the latest Google algorithm updates, there is nothing I enjoy more than talking about SEO. I have vast experience leading on e-commerce, travel & hospitality, leisure, and B2B SEO projects alongside a wider understanding of marketing needs thanks to my previous 5 years experience in a full service digital marketing agency. I bring this wider marketing experience into my strategic thinking from content distribution, to page design and UX. 

Career History

I began my first role in Digital Marketing in 2014 at Fat Media, a full service digital marketing agency based in Lancaster, UK. I was initially hired as an account executive because of my previous customer management stills as a retention advisor for a B2B washrooms company.

I quickly progressed to account manager and was responsible for managing the accounts for some of the businesses top clients including Imagine Cruising and Jessops.

During my time working for a full service agency I was involved in everything from branding, website design, UX, website development, SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, and offline design.

In 2019 I decided that I needed a new challenge, and was keen to focus on one aspect of Digital Marketing. I really enjoyed the SEO side of marketing and got an opportunity at Digitaloft, a UK based SEO agency based in Kendal, as a campaign manager.

My initial role at Digitaloft was to manage all of the SEO and Digital PR campaigns for a number of clients, including all project management, account management, and reporting.

I then developed a good understanding of developing and executing SEO strategies, and moved into a senior SEO strategist role, and then not long after that the SEO manager role.

It was in the SEO manager role where I began to learn important leadership skills and hired my first employee for the department. This eventually led me to becoming the Head of SEO where I was responsible for the success of the whole department and clients for the agency.

What Are You Looking For in Your Next Role?

I am looking to work as a freelancer or contractor for UK based businesses of all sizes helping them grow organically through search engines like Google and Bing.

I am available for one off work, or retainer work, and I am flexible to your business needs.

I can help with SEO strategy and execution of the strategy, and have experience of providing award winning SEO strategies to businesses.
