Elvion is seeking a Senior SEO Strategist to lead growth for high-impact eCommerce brands. This is not just another agency SEO role – you’ll have full ownership of strategy, a direct line to decision-makers, and the opportunity to drive real revenue growth that earns industry recognition.
We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including at least 3 years working directly with clients. You’ll lead our most important accounts, mentor team members, and play a key role in shaping the direction of our SEO offering – all while staying accountable for business-level outcomes (ROI and client retention).
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end SEO strategy for high-impact accounts, aligning your plans with client business goals and revenue growth.
- Define short- and long-term strategic roadmaps, including revenue and traffic projections tied to SEO efforts.
- Prioritize high-leverage opportunities based on difficulty, cost, and ROI, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Lead comprehensive audits (technical, content, competitive) to identify clear growth levers.
- Drive performance: increase keyword rankings, traffic, conversions, and revenue through high-impact strategic execution.
- Collaborate with internal and client teams (content, development, design) to ensure the successful implementation of SEO recommendations.
- Monitor results using dashboards and reports; clearly present progress, insights, and next steps to clients.
- Mentor junior team members: Provide guidance, support, and training to build team capability.
- Manage day-to-day campaign activity and client deliverables.
- Ensure all work contributes to strong client retention and account profitability.
Qualifications: Skills & experience preferred
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 3 years in a client-facing role
- Proven success with eCommerce SEO: show us how your strategies led to measurable growth
- Strong project management skills: ability to manage SEO execution across content, tech, and cross-functional teams (ClickUp experience a plus)
- Excellent communication skills – you can clearly present complex SEO insights to non-technical stakeholders, with a high level of English proficiency required.
- Experience mentoring junior SEO talent or managing small teams
- Experience with local SEO and/or international SEO strategies.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience integrating AI tools/workflows (e.g., keyword clustering, brief generation, reporting automation)
- Familiarity with paid search strategy (e.g., managing or overseeing eCommerce Google Ads campaigns)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, modeling, etc.)
- Experience with CRO, analytics, or attribution modeling
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
As a Senior SEO Strategist, you’ll be evaluated based on your ability to drive tangible business outcomes, ensure smooth execution, and strengthen the SEO team overall.

- Increase in client MRR under your strategic leadership

- High client retention and satisfaction (measured through feedback and renewal rate)
SEO Strategy
- % increase in organic traffic, conversions and revenue within 3–6-9-12-24 months
- % growth in keyword rankings (top 3 / top 10 rankings)
- % growth in visibility (market share)
- Strategy implementation rate (how much of your plan is executed by client/internal teams)
Team & Process
- Skill and performance growth of junior team members (feedback and outcomes)
- Efficiency and delivery of SEO projects (timeliness, output quality)
