Right now, Google Ads is among the primary traffic sources. The company is ready to invest heavily in SEO and aims to reach 1M+ organic visits per month within 1 year.

**What You'll Be Doing: **
You'll lead the SEO function from the ground up, owning the full cycle from strategy to search results.

- Strategy & Planning. Develop and execute an SEO strategy to hit 1M organic visits per year and 3M+ over 3–5 years. The market is competitive - Indeed (48M visits/mo), LinkedIn (33M), ZipRecruiter (6.7M) - your job is to find and own niches before others do.
- Programmatic SEO. Scale page creation across key clusters: job listings, salaries, company pages, career tools, remote jobs. Year-one target: 150K+ pages live, growing organic traffic to 1M+ organic visits per month within 1 year.
- Content & Link Building. Work closely with the Head of Content and Head of SEO. Build outreach processes, manage external link-building vendors, and keep the backlink profile growing on schedule.
- Technical SEO. Oversee indexation, canonicals, page speed, and JobPosting schema for Google for Jobs. Prevent technical issues from derailing large-scale page growth.
- Analytics & Reporting. Maintain live dashboards tracking key SEO and business metrics. Weekly competitor monitoring, three-scenario forecasting (optimistic / base / pessimistic).
- Team. Participate in hiring and onboarding SEO specialists (AI-savvy SEO middle, link builder, content managers). Build processes so the team operates systematically, not in firefighting mode.

**Who We're Looking For:**

Required:

- 4+ years in SEO, including 2+ years as Team Lead or Senior Specialist
- Hands-on Programmatic SEO experience: bulk page launches, templates, automation
- Deep technical SEO knowledge (indexation, Core Web Vitals, site architecture)
- Strong command of Ahrefs/Semrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking
- Link-building experience: outreach, vendor management, link quality assessment
- Experience with the US English-language market; HR/Jobs niche background is a strong plus
- Data-driven decision-making - conclusions grounded in numbers, not gut feel

Nice to Have:

- Background in job boards, HR tech, or adjacent niches
- Experience with AI tools for SEO automation
- Understanding of content marketing and PR (earning coverage in Forbes, Business Insider, etc.)
- Technical background: SQL, Python, or at least a solid grasp of how websites are built

Success Metrics

- Organic traffic: 1M+ visits/mo within 1 year.
- 150K+ pages launched in year one
- Backlink profile growing on plan (2,500+ links in year one)
