## **Job Description**

BrainDo is looking for an SEO Strategist to join its growing team of digital marketing professionals. This mid-level role requires someone with a strong editorial background, a passion for content marketing, a working knowledge of common technical issues and a desire to work collaboratively.

## **Job Responsibilities**

- Audit accounts, identify content theme opportunities based on keyword research and competitive analysis
- Provide verbal and documented SEO guidance to client contacts
- Perform ongoing analysis of SEO trends, leveraging both performance data and SEO tools to identify opportunities
- Provide analysis and remediation support for technical impediments to indexation
- Perform an SEO analysis and recommend improvements for content optimization
- Optimize content and landing pages following SEO best practices and brand guidelines
- Develop client editorial calendar recommendations based on Organic research
- Create and execute an outreach plan to amplify a company’s SEO efforts
- Manage SEO reports and provide contextual commentary
- Stay on top of industry trends and play a role in encouraging new SEO solutions for our clientele

## **Required Skills**

- 3 years’ experience with SEO and a proven track record of successful content optimization
- Copywriting experience geared towards SEO (writing samples strongly preferred)
- Experience writing SEO client documentation
- In-house or agency experience working alongside a team
- Brings analytical thinking to SEO practices and content strategy
- Strong writing, grammar, and copyediting skills with a focus on conciseness and consistency
- Skilled at Organic keyword research and connecting it to client business objectives
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices, including its technical aspects
- Comfortable working one-on-one with clients, including in-person presentations and weekly performance check-ins.
- Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tool sets (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.)
- Exceptional client communication, time management, and organizational skills

## **Bonus Points**

- HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript knowledge
- Experience with link building and link outreach
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) and project management platforms (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, etc.)
