## **About the company**

Place Digital is a boutique, mission-driven marketing agency dedicated to helping therapy practices and rehab centers grow in sustainable, ethical, and genuinely life-changing ways. We’re not a traditional agency — we exist because the mental-health industry deserves better than burnout culture, predatory marketing tactics, and one-size-fits-all strategies.

We help practitioners build profitable, fulfilling practices through trauma-informed, results-driven digital marketing — including SEO, Local SEO/GBP optimization, content strategy and writing, and high-quality website design.

Because when therapists thrive, so do their communities.

We’re a fully remote team spread across the United States, Western Europe, and South Africa. We operate with the heart of a small team and the impact of a deeply specialized agency. Every person here plays a meaningful role in shaping the experience our clients (and their clients) receive.

## **Our Values**

- **Excellence** . We are a small team that delivers world-class results. We hold ourselves to a high bar and aim to exceed it, even when the marketing landscape is shifting beneath our feet.
- **Integrity** . We prioritize ethical marketing over gimmicks, operating with honesty and transparency. We tell our clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear.
- **Collaboration** . We see our clients as partners in their success, and we work across departments to deliver the most comprehensive and informed strategies.
- **Clarity** . We communicate with each other clearly and respectfully, and our clients always know what’s going on. No one is in the dark, and no one is disrespected.
- **Enthusiasm** . We love what we do, and we find deep satisfaction when helping our clients achieve their goals. We are our clients’ cheerleaders and see their success as our own.

## **Why Work With Us**

- A calm, supportive, fully remote environment.
- Full time, salaried position ($70,000-$80,000, DOE).
- Work that directly contributes to better mental-health access.
- A small team where your voice matters.
- Opportunities to grow your expertise and take ownership.
- Meaningful work, mission-aligned clients, and work you can be proud of.
- At Place Digital, you're not just joining an agency — you're joining a team that genuinely cares about the people behind the practices and the people behind the work.

## **About the role**

- Lead with insight: Conduct meaningful keyword research and competitor analysis that helps our therapy and rehab clients be found by the people who need them most.
- Shape high-impact content: Optimize on-page elements — from metadata and URLs to internal linking and content structure — to drive sustainable, ethical, client-attracting growth.
- Strengthen foundations: Perform technical SEO audits, identify opportunities, and collaborate with our team to implement fixes that support long-term stability and performance.
- Elevate local visibility: Build and execute thoughtful Local SEO and Google Business Profile strategies so our clients show up clearly and confidently in their communities.
- Measure what matters: Track, analyze, and report on core KPIs (traffic, rankings, conversions, CTR, and beyond) — translating data into clear recommendations and real-world impact.
- Collaborate with purpose: Partner closely with our content, design, and website teams to weave SEO best practices into every stage of production.
- Stay curious and evolving: Keep an eye on search updates, tools, and industry shifts, ensuring our strategies remain ahead of the curve — and always aligned with trauma-informed, sustainable marketing principles.
- Lead client strategy calls, clearly communicating SEO performance, wins, challenges, and next steps.
- Present analytics updates including traffic trends, keyword movement, conversions, and technical improvements, translating data into actionable insights.
- Proactively address performance decreases with clear explanations, recovery plans, and timeline expectations.
- Showcase recent optimizations, completed deliverables, and measurable improvements to reinforce value and ROI.
- Manage high-level client relationships, building trust through transparency, responsiveness, and strategic guidance.
- Adapt in real time during calls, pivoting discussions based on client priorities, questions, or unexpected concerns.
- Collaborate with internal SEO specialists, content teams, and technical teams to ensure deliverables align with client goals.
- Set clear expectations, timelines, and KPIs to maintain alignment and prevent miscommunication.
- Identify growth opportunities and upsell additional SEO services when aligned with client objectives.

## **About you**

You’re someone who not only understands SEO — you

*love*

it. You take pride in doing meaningful work, you care about the people behind the projects, and you’re excited by the idea of supporting therapists and rehab centers doing life-changing work.

We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and heart:

- Experienced & confident: You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO and account management, with strong skills in on-page, off-page, Google Business, and technical optimization.
- Local SEO savvy: You understand the nuances of Local SEO and Google Business Profiles for service-based businesses — and you know how to create strategies that move the needle.
- Proven experience leading client calls and presenting performance data, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, and technical SEO metrics.
- Tool-proficient: You’re comfortable using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other industry-standard SEO tools to uncover insights and guide decision-making.
- Strong background in analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and SEO tools such as Ahrefs.
- Organized & collaborative: You’re skilled at managing multiple projects, communicating clearly, and working closely with cross-functional teams (content, design, web, and operations).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and retain client relationships, including handling performance concerns and difficult conversations with professionalism.
- Tech-friendly: Familiarity with Moxie and GSuite is a plus, but not required — we’ll support you in getting up to speed.
- Experience translating complex SEO data into clear, strategic insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining organization, adaptability, and responsiveness.
- Aligned with our values: Our values resonate with you. You care about doing good work in a way that feels good for you, the team, and the clients we serve.

If you’re someone who thrives in a supportive, remote environment and wants to make a tangible difference in the mental-health space, you’ll feel right at home here.

## **What's in it for you?**

- This role will begin as a three-month contract. Upon successful completion of this initial period, the position will transition to a full-time, salaried role with benefits.
- Benefits include health care, dental care, and 401k with company matching.
- Paid time off + a full week off at Christmas.
- A calm, supportive culture.
- The chance to do meaningful work that directly supports therapists and improves mental-health access.
- High ownership and room to share ideas, lead projects, and make a real impact.
- Clear processes, open communication, and collaborative teams.
