The Role
Based in our Norwich offices, we have an exciting opportunity for an SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant prior experience in a similar role, with the skills and confidence to engage with the wider business to do what’s needed to achieve a sustained increase in site traffic, conversion rates and an improved user experience.
You will be comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of designers, writers and business development to set strategies to maximise opportunities in the market for traffic and increased revenue. You will be a driven leader who is happy to take responsibility for the traffic and conversions to our website.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the structure of the site, it’s URLs, design, components and content etc are all fully optimised for SEO.
- Ensure every page is fit for purpose, reflects the site’s brand values and delivers the best user experience possible.
- Interpret data analysis by the Digital Marketing Manager to develop strategies relating to new trends, opportunities and risks to the site’s traffic and conversion rates.
- Work closely with the Senior Management Team to develop the ongoing performance of the site.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Significant experience working with search engine marketing principles in an eCommerce environment.
- Proven analytical skills and reporting skills with experience of Google Analytics (v4 would be an advantage), Google Tag Manager and other recognised SEO tools.
- Extensive experience with CMS based websites, preferably Umbraco.
- Practical knowledge of how UX and user journey influences SEO
- Previous experience of creating reports for, and giving advice to, senior management.
- Flexible with a professional attitude
- Demonstrable communication and influencing skills.
- Deep analytical skills.
- Organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to influence others to get the job done.
Salary:
Competitive salary, depending on experience
Hours:
Full time 35 hrs per week Monday-Friday 9am-5.00pm
