Job Description:
We are looking for a new teammate to join our world-class Search Engine Optimization (SEO) team, working with some of the highest-traffic sites in the world. As a member of Bank of America’s SEO team, you will help shape and execute organic search strategies across various products, services and brands. You will partner with agencies and internal teams to engage prospects and customers, drive profitable outcomes for the brand, and keep pace with the ever-evolving requirements to win in organic search. Collaborating with our industry-leading team and award-winning agency, you serve as an energetic, entrepreneurial voice to key internal stakeholders, helping them understand the business implications of voice search, accelerated mobile pages, core web vitals, and other search trends. In the process of increasing Bank of America and Merrill’s visibility and rankings within the search engines, you will get exposure to high-level organic search expertise and exposure to teams at Google that few SEOs have the luxury of claiming. Required Skills:
- 2+ years related experience in Organic Search/SEO with a top brand and/or agency strongly preferred; otherwise, 2+ years of Digital Marketing experience
- A strong understanding of SEO strategies and the business models of search platforms (Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Apple)
- Experience with search technologies and platforms (Google Search Console, STAT, Screaming Frog, AHrefs, SEMRush, Bing Webmaster Tools, etc)
- Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Data Visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Desired Skills:
- Financial services or similarly regulated industry experience preferred
- Ability to simultaneously oversee all aspects of SEO strategy and maximize the value of organic search across various lines of business
- Trusted partnership and collaboration with key partners and stakeholders in Digital Marketing, Digital Sales, Social, Content
- Efficient and effective management of the time and expertise of agency resources
- Ability to make contributions to strategic discussions among internal and agency search teams
- Delivery of SEO thought leadership and updates to key partners in a relatable, concise manner
- Clear articulation of the performance of the SEO channel in business reviews
- Working closely with colleagues on the paid search team to demonstrate the full value of search to internal and external partners
