Senior SEO Strategist (70K/year - Full Time)

**The Role**

You'll own SEO strategy and execution end-to-end for major cannabis brands, finance clients, and ambitious local businesses. Ship audits. Build roadmaps. Implement fixes. Measure wins. Do it all with complete autonomy and zero micromanagement.

We're a small, entrepreneurial agency. Our best people are hands-on, ship fast, and can work confidently with just general guidelines and a clear goal. If you like to own the output quality and move at your own pace, this is the role.

Audits & strategy: Run technical, on-page, and off-page SEO audits. Build data-driven roadmaps tied to client business goals. Ship them with confidence.

Implementation: Work with dev to prioritize and execute fixes. Navigate roadblocks. Make things happen.

Content & design: Thoughtfully design landing pages and content that's on-brand and actually moves the needle for clients. This isn't template work.

Measurement: Analyze performance in GA4, GSC, Looker. Build monthly reports that show impact, not just vanity metrics.

AI-forward execution: Use Claude, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and other tools as core to how you work—not as a bonus. We ship faster because of AI. You will too.

Client relationships: Own client communication and expectations. Be the person they trust.

Mentoring (optional): Help junior team members level up if they need it—but no formal management overhead.

**You Have**

Hands-on implementation: You've done the work—technical SEO audits, content strategy, landing page design, dev collaboration. You know what ships and what doesn't.

Multi-year campaign experience: Managed complex SEO projects on big sites (100K+ pages) or high-value niches. You understand the long game.

Tool proficiency: Comfortable with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, Looker Studio. You know how to pull insights that matter.

Technical chops: Understand JavaScript, crawling, indexing, rendering, E-E-A-T. You can talk to dev and be taken seriously.

Creative output: You can write strong content briefs, design landing pages, create campaigns that feel intentional—not cookie-cutter.

Autonomy: You work best when given clear goals and freedom to figure out the rest. 

**Bonus**

- Experience in regulated markets (cannabis, finance, healthcare, legal)
- You're already using AI in your SEO work (ChatGPT, Claude, agents, workflows)
- You've solved impossible dev roadblocks
- You've worked with clients and know how to translate business goals into SEO wins
