**Overview**

In this role you drive organic growth for Tesco's digital channels by delivering effective SEO strategies across multiple business areas. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve search visibility and customer discovery, contributing to commercial performance. You’ll analyse data, identify opportunities, and promote best practices to support sustainable growth. This is a fast-paced, impact-focused role within a large, diverse organization that values collaboration and continuous learning.

 **Responsibilities**

- Deliver day-to-day SEO activity across Tesco's digital channels to boost organic visibility and commercial performance.
- Use SEO data, customer insights and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities across key business areas.
- Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis and content optimisation.
- Support technical SEO initiatives including crawlability, indexation, structured data, internal linking and page performance.
- Analyze SEO performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and promote SEO best practices.
- Create SEO briefs and requirements to ensure effective content and technical improvements.
- Monitor search trends, SERP developments and emerging AI search opportunities to identify risks and growth areas.
- Support ecommerce and local SEO initiatives to improve product, category and store visibility.
- Produce regular SEO reporting and stakeholder updates on performance and impact.
- Work closely with the SEO Lead to deliver strategy and key business initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and continue developing SEO knowledge and skills.

 **Key requirements**

- 4+ years' SEO experience in ecommerce, retail, agency or large-scale environments.
- Strong knowledge of technical, ecommerce and local SEO with a proven track record.
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO Clarity, Google Merchant Center and Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Ability to analyse data and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally with developers, product, UX, content and commercial teams.
- Strong reporting, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Jira, Workfront, Miro, Zendesk and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AI search and local SEO platforms is advantageous.
