**Role Description**

The SEO Entity Specialist / Knowledge Graph Analyst / Semantic Search Specialist improves how brands, topics, products, and content are understood and connected by search engines. This role applies entity-based SEO and semantic-search principles to strengthen topical authority, content relevance, structured-data quality, and organic visibility.

The position researches entities, search intent, topic relationships, and knowledge-graph opportunities to develop scalable search strategies. It works closely with SEO, Content, Product, Engineering, Data, and Digital Marketing teams to improve information architecture, schema markup, internal linking, content models, and the consistency of key business information across digital properties.

The role analyses search performance and semantic signals to identify content gaps, entity ambiguity, and opportunities for richer search visibility. It translates complex search concepts into practical recommendations, validates implementation quality, and helps build systems that improve search relevance and discoverability over time.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Information Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience in SEO, technical SEO, content strategy, search analytics, semantic search, or structured data.
- Strong understanding of entity-based SEO, search intent, topical authority, and how search engines interpret relationships between topics.
- Experience conducting entity research, topic mapping, keyword clustering, content-gap analysis, and search-demand analysis.
- Knowledge of knowledge graphs, schema markup, structured data, linked data, and common entity types.
- Experience developing or improving content taxonomies, information architecture, internal-linking structures, and topic clusters.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies in brand, product, location, and organisation information across websites and digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of semantic HTML, page context, metadata, and content structure for search visibility.
- Experience using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Schema.org tools, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyse organic-performance data and identify opportunities related to rich results, topic coverage, and entity visibility.
- Working knowledge of HTML, JSON-LD, content-management systems, and SEO implementation processes.
- Ability to communicate semantic-search and technical recommendations clearly to content, product, and engineering stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, research skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Experience with e-commerce catalogues, large-content websites, multilingual SEO, or AI-powered search experiences is an advantage.
