# **Role Summary**

We’re looking for a seasoned content writer (≈ 20 hrs / week) who can own end-to-end content production for our fast-growing furniture Dupe engine. With over 2million users a month you'll be part of a rocketship that is changing how people shop. You’ll craft helpful customer-first articles, landing pages, email copy, and micro-copy that convert, while leveraging modern AI tools to scale output without sacrificing quality.

### Core Requirements

- **5+ years** professional writing for e-commerce, DTC, or high-growth consumer start-ups
- Proven **SEO** expertise: keyword research, content gap analysis, on-page optimization, SERP feature targeting
- Hands-on with **headless CMSs** (Contentful, Sanity, Prismic, Strapi, or similar) — content modeling & dynamic routing
- Daily user of **AI content tools** to accelerate ideation, outlines, drafts, localization, or optimization
- Strong editorial instincts — you can turn raw product specs into engaging stories that sell
- Familiarity with basic HTML/Markdown and comfortable using Git-based workflows or CMS APIs
- Portfolio that demonstrates both conversion copy and long-form editorial pieces ranking on page 1

#### Nice-to-have

- Experience structuring programmatic SEO or microsite roll-outs
- Competence with analytics tools (GA4, Posthog) to iterate on content performance
- Understanding of UGC/creator economy workflows and AI image generation (e.g., Flux, Midjourney)
- Past work with localization/international SEO at scale

#### Reporting & Collaboration

- Reports to **CTO**
- Works closely with Engineering and Design
- Async-friendly team; primary tools: Notion, Slack, Figma, GitHub, and our headless CMS

#### Compensation & Logistics

- **Hours**: ~20/week (flexible schedule; overlap with US- ET timezone for 4 hrs/day preferred)
- Depending on performance a full time role will be evaluated after 3 months
- **Contract:** 6-month retainer with option to renew or increase to full-time
- **Rate**: Competitive hourly or project-based, commensurate with experience
