**About the Opportunity:**

The SEO AND AI SEARCH SPECIALIST is responsible for enhancing the visibility and reach of the organization's content across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms. This role is pivotal in driving organic growth by analyzing search performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and collaborating with editorial teams to adapt content strategies. The specialist contributes to evolving how the organization approaches search engine and AI discovery, thereby increasing audience engagement and content impact.

**Responsibilities:**

- Monitor organic search performance and identify growth opportunities across the content portfolio.
- Conduct keyword, topic, SERP, competitor, and content gap research to guide editorial strategy.
- Recommend content improvements including new content, refreshes, consolidation, and SEO enhancements.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to provide actionable SEO and AI search optimization advice.
- Track brand visibility and mentions on AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI.
- Suggest content structure and data enhancements to improve search and AI discoverability.
- Design and execute SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) tests to evaluate tactics.
- Report on performance using metrics like organic traffic, rankings, AI citations, and share of voice.
- Identify and address technical SEO issues impacting organic visibility.
- Stay updated on changes in search algorithms and AI discovery to advise editorial adjustments.

**Requirements:**

- Minimum 3 years of SEO experience, including knowledge of AI-powered search and AEO.
- Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and content SEO principles.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools like Semrush or Ahrefs.
- Experience with keyword research, SERP analysis, competitor and content performance assessments.
- Analytical skills to translate data into clear recommendations.
- Familiarity with generative AI and AI discovery platforms.
- Understanding of emerging AEO concepts such as AI citations and brand authority.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with editorial teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort with testing new SEO approaches and adapting to evolving search landscapes.
