Are you a motivated, emerging SEO seeking the opportunity to work for a best-in-class brand? As an SEO Analyst, you’ll work on SEO initiatives for the Apartments.com Network. With your genuine curiosity about how our audiences search paired with a technical aptitude, you’ll research search trends, monitor traffic, and work on traffic-driving initiatives.

As a valued member of the product team, you’ll be part of a dynamic, motivated team that strives to produce the best content in our industry. Your contributions will enhance the user experience and help the team contribute to the overall business goal of making Apartments.com a trusted resource and the go-to marketplace for renting.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • You’ll perform keyword research, create keyword tracking lists, competitive analysis, technical audits, and other techniques
  • You’ll perform content research and keyword gap analysis to prioritize topic recommendations and plan a roadmap for data-driven content creation
  • You’ll keep track of organic search performance by analyzing rankings, traffic, and conversion data to identify trends
  • You’ll leverage your communication skills to share insights and recommendations to a variety of colleagues, stakeholders, and business leaders with both technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • You’ll help with a variety of traffic driving projects, drive meaningful change, and achieve results while working in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or other fields
  • 1+ years of in-house or agency SEO work experience ​
  • Some knowledge of various tools to perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO activities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end web programming languages
  • Some knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Experience working on websites or marketplaces
  • Problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills, attention to detail, and objectivity
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
