EDGY’s Senior SEO Strategists are the SEO experts and advocates for our clients.
They will be part of the team that drives the overall SEO strategy for our clients. This position is responsible for standard SEO duties such as keyword research, competitive and market analysis, and opportunity analysis. This position also requires strong technical skills for solving SEO issues related to web technology. Finally, this position is client facing and is responsible for conveying SEO strategy to clients.
Background: You have worked not only in SEO, but also in web development and/or data analytics. You have some programming experience related to web technologies or analytics platforms

- General SEO Best Practices
- Strong Technical SEO skills
- Page performance auditing using Chrome DevTools
- Use of SEO Tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Search Console and SEMRush
- Building Client Facing Executive Reports
- Build and Track client KPIs
- Experience building data analytics report suites/dashboards on tools such as Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Schema.org markup and implementation
- Can recommend and guide client site architecture
- Can implement proper internationalization issues/hreflang and canonicalization.
- Can identify what pages should and should not be available for indexing.
Preferred Skills
- Enterprise client experience.
- Adobe Analytics Intermediate-Expert level is a plus.
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento)
- Agile/Scrum ticketing tools such as: Jira/Confluence, Asana, Azure DevOps
- Experience in the Automotive industry.
- Knowledge of, or experience with PPC and other SEM channels.
- Python
- R
This role is the go to for:
- Servings as the SEO expert and vocal advocate both internally within your pod and externally with clients and other internal stakeholders
- Driving SEO initiatives to meet business objectives. The Sr SEO Strategist is an integral member of the SEO Team, helping achieve greater SERP visibility/prominence across, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the business by leading strategic initiatives and supporting cross functional projects.
