We are seeking a Senior SEO Strategist & Account Lead who can own strategy, guide clients confidently, and drive measurable performance across diverse industries.




## The Role



This is a leadership-level SEO position within the agency.



You will serve as the strategic architect and primary account lead for SEO clients — building 6–12 month roadmaps, guiding implementation, managing timelines, and translating performance data into clear business insights.



This role blends:




- Strategic SEO expertise
- Client relationship leadership
- Cross-functional project management

## What You’ll Do



### Strategic Leadership



- Develop comprehensive, white-hat SEO strategies for: - Local businesses - Multi-location brands - National service providers - Ecommerce companies
- Conduct technical audits, competitive analysis, keyword research, and content gap analysis
- Build SERP landscape evaluations and scalable authority-building strategies
- Create 6–12 month roadmaps aligned with KPIs and revenue goals
- Develop local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization strategies



### Account & Client Leadership



- Serve as primary strategic lead and trusted advisor
- Lead client meetings and executive-level conversations
- Translate complex SEO data into actionable business recommendations
- Identify risks, pivots, and growth opportunities proactively



### Project & Team Management



- Oversee implementation timelines across content, development, design, and paid teams
- Manage scope, priorities, and deadlines using Teamwork.com
- QA deliverables to ensure alignment with SEO best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure execution matches strategy



### Performance & Analytics



- Monitor KPIs including rankings, traffic, conversions, revenue impact, and engagement metrics
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting with insights — not just data
- Utilize tools such as:
- GA4
- Google Search Console
- SEMrush
- Screaming Frog
- Looker Studio
- Google Tag Manager
- CallRail
- HubSpot, High Level, Salesforce
- WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and analytical depth



## What We’re Looking For



### Required



- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable results
- Proven success across local, multi-location, ecommerce, and national campaigns
- Deep understanding of:
- Keyword & market research
- Technical SEO
- Information architecture
- On-page optimization
- Content strategy
- Google’s Content Quality Guidelines / E-E-A-T
- Local SEO & Google Business Profiles
- Ethical, white-hat link acquisition
- Agency experience managing multiple accounts
- Experience leading client relationships and executive discussions
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven project management experience



### Preferred



- Multi-location SEO at scale
- Ecommerce SEO (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.)
- CRO knowledge
- Experience mentoring junior SEOs
