### **Company Description**


At Draft.dev, we develop go-to-market strategies for companies seeking highly technical content for the software development industry. Specifically, we work with many venture-funded AI-first companies looking to go to market. We also work with many Fortune 100 companies seeking technical content for a product line.

We are looking for an expert with experience working with enterprise B2B clients.

### **Role Description:**


The Senior SEO/AEO Analyst is a full-time remote role focused on driving organic visibility and traffic for technical content. This role involves conducting in-depth keyword and entity research, optimizing content and site structure for search engines and AI models, and performing on-page SEO audits and implementations.

### **Day-to-day responsibilities include:**



- Developing content strategies and roadmaps for clients
- Ensuring every article produced has top-tier SEO and AEO performed
- Developing monthly analytics reports for clients
- Working with our technical team to improve our AI-based engine
- Coordinating Engineering Technical Content Specialists (editors) on specific projects
- Doing a read-through of finalized content before it's delivered to clients
- Handling async client questions for roadmap, content development, strategies, etc.



### **Qualifications**



- Strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to identify opportunities and optimize technical content.
- Experience with Link Building strategies that align with ethical, sustainable SEO practices.
- Proficiency in Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track performance and inform strategy.
- Background in Marketing, especially digital or content marketing, to integrate SEO/AEO into broader growth initiatives.
- Knowledge of AI-powered search and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), including optimization for LLMs and developer-focused search platforms.
- Experience working with technical or developer-focused content, with the ability to interpret and optimize complex topics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and collaborate across distributed teams.



### **Expectations:**


We are a remote-first company based out of Chicago. Our team is spread throughout the world, across every continent. We all work during US time zones, as our clients are mostly US-based. The expectation is that this candidate can adjust their schedule to work in US-only time zones if they live abroad.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are also needed.

The expected salary depends on expertise and local salary levels. The typical range is $40,000 to $80,000 annually. This position has no bonus structures, or equity.
