### What are we looking for?

Hercules is looking for a senior or staff level SEO Content Writer to help us educate the world on what Hercules is, how it works, and why it matters.

### What will you do?

You will own Hercules' SEO content engine end to end.

- Identify the highest-value keywords and search opportunities to target
- e.g. "best AI app builder" or "hercules vs lovable" or "build a CRM"
- Publish long‑form content that is simple, accurate, clear, useful, and data‑driven
- Monitor and optimize existing content until it ranks highly and drives traffic/signups/revenue
- Automate your workflow with AI

### What skills do we expect you to have?

We expect candidates to be incredibly strong across all of the following areas:

- **Writing quality:** exceptional long‑form writing ability. Our style is terse, simple, clear, convincing, authentic, and useful. We do not accept AI slop. A track record of strong written communication is a hard requirement
- **SEO:** strong understanding of search intent, content structure, on‑page SEO, internal linking, content refreshes, and what it takes for content to rank
- **Commercial sense:** write content that ranks AND converts the audience to paid customers
- **Technical fluency:** familiarity with technical concepts like APIs, authentication, hosting, role based access control etc
- **AI leverage:** 10x your workflow by using the frontier of AI tools well. We expect you to be able to product ~50+ high quality articles a month, if not more

**Compensation:** $100k-$250k + equity (variable based on seniority, equity, and location)
