Director of SEO ~ Seeking Alpha ~ $120k-180k ~ Remote (US)

Seeking Alpha is looking for an experienced Director of SEO to manage and coordinate our SEO efforts, encompassing both onsite and offsite optimization, as well as conducting keyword expansion research.

We are looking for an individual who possesses strong analytical and perceptiveness skills, along with excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams. It is crucial for the candidate to have up-to-date knowledge of current SEO practices and techniques.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that our content is search engine friendly and optimized, ultimately driving increased profitability for our company.

This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing.

• Develop and execute highly successful SEO strategies to drive organic search performance.
• Manage and lead a team of SEO Specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve objectives.
• Conduct thorough keyword research to inform content teams and optimize content effectively.
• Identify and assess technical SEO issues, offering expert recommendations for necessary fixes.
• Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy to improve search visibility and user engagement.
• Direct off-page optimization projects, such as link-building initiatives, to enhance website authority.
• Collect and analyze relevant data to generate insightful reports on traffic, rankings, and other essential SEO metrics.
• Collaborate closely with social media and PPC teams to align strategies and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
• Stay abreast of the latest SEO and integrated marketing trends, proactively integrating them into strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
• A strong background in investing and equity markets.
• Experience working at or with a very large publisher.
• Detail-oriented along with a precise and clear communication style.
• Experience working closely with developers on a technical level.
• A highly collaborative, team­-oriented individual comfortable with managing an experienced team.
• High proficiency in SEO tools and analytics.

The applicable salary range for this position is $120,000/yr to $180,000/yr which depends on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
