**Director of SEO – People Leadership & Strategy**

ANCHOR Recruiting Group has been retained to identify an experienced **Director of SEO – People Leadership & Strategy** for an established, growing digital marketing organization.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven SEO leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, developing managers, shaping SEO strategy, and leading meaningful client relationships.

The Director of SEO will lead a department of approximately **40 SEO professionals**, including four managers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on coaching others, creating accountability, and helping teams reach their full potential.

**What You'll Do**

- Lead, coach, and develop four SEO managers and a team of approximately 40 professionals.
- Own the organization's SEO strategy and identify opportunities to enhance products and services.
- Build a culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead client meetings and help translate SEO strategy into meaningful business results.
- Improve client retention through stronger SEO strategy and client engagement.
- Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Digital Advertising to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Drive operational improvements, reporting, KPIs, and team efficiencies.
- Work closely with an international team to streamline processes and maximize strategic focus.

**What We're Looking For**

- 8+ years of progressive SEO experience.
- 4+ years leading SEO or digital marketing teams.
- Experience managing leaders and developing emerging managers.
- Strong technical and strategic SEO expertise.
- Outstanding coaching, communication, and client presentation skills.
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and improving organizational performance.
- Digital agency or high-volume client services experience is highly preferred.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.
