UWorld seeks a Director of Digital Marketing to oversee, develop, execute, and measure digital marketing campaigns, in addition to managing a team of digital marketers. These activities include SEO and SEM strategy, ad placement, social media, email marketing programs, and other demand generation activities. The digital marketing director is also responsible for working with the data analytics team to create and improve dashboards, reporting, and regularly measuring traditional marketing analytics.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum Experience Required

  • 7+ years’ digital marketing and/or agency experience
  • 3+ years’ managerial experience
  • Certification in Google Ads and Analytics required
  • Strong experience with marketing and sales CRMs (preferably Pardot and Salesforce)
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS web publishing software
  • Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Tableau)
  • Experience with website analytics tools (preferably Mouseflow)
  • Knowledge of digital advertising, budgets, and adaptation to maximize ad performance
  • Demonstrable experience generating SEO-friendly, conversion-optimized campaigns
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices and benchmarking
  • Experience with SEO and SEM tools (preferably SEMRush and Screaming Frog)
  • Demonstrable experience of moving prospects through all stages of the marketing funnel

Job Duties (Including but not limited to)

Digital Strategy

  • Create and implement digital marketing strategies
  • Manage a team of digital marketers
  • Manage SEO and SEM strategy
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns from beginning to end through plan development, targeting, setup, implementation, and reporting/analysis
  • Manage budget, goals, and schedule of all paid search for multiple verticals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing and pillar pages, and optimize the user experience
  • Work closely with the company’s in-house creative and technology teams to continuously improve the online experience
  • Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, and satisfaction rates.
  • Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement

Analytics

  • Design, develop, and maintain regular reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Manage digital marketing tech stack
  • Analyze website traffic reports, linking structures, codes, and content to be able to make recommendations to increase website traffic, the number of quality leads, and conversion rates
  • Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Initiate and manage lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospect movement through the demand generation funnel
