We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and detail-oriented SEO & Content Implementation Specialist to help us execute and manage content operations that span publishing, optimization, and distribution. This is a hands-on, mid-level role, not for someone who just wants to run audits and make decks.
You’ll be supporting live SEO campaigns, updating affiliate content, optimizing published articles, and helping us maintain client visibility across an evolving and fragmented search landscape (yes, we’re talking about AI Overviews, Reddit threads, Google, YouTube, newsletters—you name it). If you’re someone who’s excited to implement and adapt, this is your role.
This is part-time to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role quickly for the right person. You do not need to be efficient or have all of the qualifications; we are willing to train, as there are many things we do in our work that others don’t.
Please no agencies. We are looking for someone to join our internal team.
Who This Role is Perfect For
– A former blogger, niche site builder, agency SEO, or content manager who has worn many hats
– Someone who’s done a bit of everything in SEO and content, and wants to keep learning
– An operator with a “figure it out” mindset who’s hungry to understand how modern search visibility works
– Not a senior strategist, but someone mid-level who can run with a task, execute well, and knows when to ask questions
What You’ll Be Doing
– Content SEO Implementation
– Light keyword research to support content strategy and briefs
– Write short but clear briefs for writers
– Review and polish published content for on-page SEO (titles, headers, metadata, internal links)
– Optimize existing articles for improved visibility, including striking distance opportunities
– Update bylines, author bios, and trust signals
Affiliate & Monetization Tasks
– Add or update affiliate links and in-article ads
– Ensure content follows affiliate and monetization best practices
– Monitor and flag underperforming content
Content Management & Distribution
– Enter topics and briefs into Airtable
– Support and execute distribution across key platforms (Reddit, newsletters, niche sites, etc.)
– Manage editorial metadata and publishing details
– Create one page editorial guidelines for each client
– Add due dates for writers when adding tasks, making sure we are constantly hitting client deadlines
Monitoring & Reporting
– Monitor keyword rankings and overall visibility (not just Google, but Reddit, AI snapshots, forums, etc.)
– Flag key changes or opportunities for improvement
– Pull data from Ahrefs, Search Console, and other SEO tools to support reporting and strategy
– Help with initial visibility reporting during onboarding
Special Projects
– Assist in setting up or updating client dashboards (Looker Studio or similar)
– Pull traffic, subreddit, or topic-level data for visibility assessments
– Contribute to one-off SEO cleanup or expansion projects
– Improve content workflows and content processes (ongoing)
What We’re Looking For
– A curiosity-driven implementor who enjoys figuring out what’s actually working in search and content today
– Familiar with SEO fundamentals, but interested in the full visibility picture (AI search, social, forums, etc.)
– Organized and self-directed, but comfortable asking questions when needed
– Comfortable with tools like Ahrefs, GSC, Airtable, WordPress, and willing to learn others
– Collaborative, but able to own and run with a to-do list
Nice to Haves
– Experience with client-facing reporting or dashboards
– Affiliate program experience (Amazon, Skimlinks, Impact, etc.)
– Familiarity with Reddit and niche content platforms
