We’re a content and organic discovery agency that helps brands show up in the right places — Reddit, YouTube, editorial, AI search. Our team is small, the work is real, and everyone here actually cares about doing it well.
We’re looking for a Client Account Manager to be the connective tissue between our clients and the people doing the work. This isn’t a passive account management role — you’ll be running meetings, keeping things on track, talking about our strategy and making sure nothing falls through the cracks on either side.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead initial onboarding calls and monthly client meetings — keeping communication clear and expectations aligned
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for clients via Slack and email
- Translate our strategy into clear, confident explanations for clients — you won’t be doing this alone, but you should be comfortable being the one in the room (or on the call) who walks them through what we’re doing and why
- Support smooth client onboarding from start to ongoing work
- Review monthly client reports for accuracy and make sure they reflect what clients actually care about right now
- Communicate client goals and priorities clearly to the internal team
- Flag scope changes early and help draft updated proposals, SOWs, and documentation as needed
- Gather client feedback and look for ways to make the experience better over time
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with the internal team to anticipate what clients will need before they ask
- Help manage timelines and keep deliverables on track across projects
- Depending on your background, there’s room to take on additional responsibilities across the company
What we’re looking for
- Experience managing clients in a creative or marketing agency context
- Strong written communication — you’re clear, warm, and reliable
- Comfortable running meetings and representing the company externally
- Organized and able to juggle multiple clients and projects without losing the thread
- Familiar with tools like Google Workspace, Airtable, and Slack
- Enough SEO and content knowledge to hold a confident strategy conversation with a client — our SEO team and strategists are always in your corner, but you’re the one clients are talking to
- Detail-oriented and proactive — you notice what needs doing and you do it
The kind of person who does well here
You’re someone clients trust quickly. You’re comfortable switching between a client call and a process improvement conversation in the same afternoon. You can explain what we’re doing and why in a way that makes sense to someone who isn’t deep in SEO — and when you need backup, you know to pull in the right person from the team. You like making things run smoother — not because someone asked you to, but because it bothers you when they don’t.
You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and don’t need a lot of hand-holding to figure out what a situation needs.
The details
Full-time and fully remote. Has to be available during EST hours for client meetings.
If this sounds like your kind of role, we’d love to hear from you — tell us a bit about your background and why this feels like a fit.
How to Apply
Please apply via email. Tell me why you love working with clients, why you applied to this role and what you think you’ll bring. Also, please answer at least ONE of these questions via video or Loom. Do not use AI, we can tell. We want to get to know you, learn more about you, better to keep it short, simple.
1. What’s one hill you’ll die on when it comes to SEO, content or AI search today?
2. What’s your move when a client is unhappy, or things get tense?
