The Opportunity:
We are looking for a technical SEO expert/manager with a deep understanding of SEO strategy, processes, backend technology, and best practices.
This is a strategic position where you will work closely with cross functional teams to build a leading health site. You will be responsible for driving the success of a comprehensive SEO strategy and achieving aggressive traffic goals. This is a key leadership position within our product and search team.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the SEO strategy, analysis, and execution of SEO programs.
• Manage day to day operations and track against goals and KPIs.
• Define and describe optimal website navigational structure for search engine indexing and rankings.
• Research and recommend new SEO strategies, Internet marketing and advertising technologies, and current Internet trends (Web 2.0).
• Run, process, and analyze progress reports for product managers.
• Research keyword analysis on optimal SEO terms.
• Create link building programs internally and externally.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of technical SEO experience, demonstrating ability to increase rankings.
• Technical expertise in backend SEO practices including on-page architecture.
• Experience with data driven SEO analysis and familiarity with tracking/reporting tools.
• Experience educating and selling SEO programs to the product team.
• Content and link building experience.
• Knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, and Rich Media Formats.
• Knowledge of SQL and generating db queries.
• Knowledge of SEO tools, blogs and online publications.
• Familiarity with SEM preferred.
