Our client is a start-up focused on building solutions that facilitate Online to Offline commerce.
Responsibilities
• Choose tools, establish patterns, set the pace, and make long-term back-end decisions.
• Write large amounts of maintainable code for both our web and mobile back-ends.
• Manage and scale the MySQL database.
• Take ownership of the LAMP stack and deploy it in the cloud on AWS.
• Build a professional software engineering environment that can constantly iterate new product innovations.
Requirements
• You write exceptional Python, PHP (web), Objective-C (iPhone), and Java (Android) code by hand.
• Experience managing an entire LAMP stack.
• Experience in mobile development (iPhone/Android).
• You are self motivated and take charge of tasks with enthusiasm.
Bonus Points
• You have released an app on the App Store.
• Experience with Amazon's cloud computing environment.
• Experience with Django.
• You have public evidence of your skills as a developer: Open Source contributions, Stack Overflow answers, etc.
• You have created an existing widely used web site or application.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Bachelor's Degree
